NC State faculty and staff enjoy access to a number of international research and funding opportunities through the Office of Global Engagement.

Through the Office of Global Engagement, this fund supports the development of research and educational exchange between AC21 members by providing seed funding for a variety of collaborative research projects and activities.

NC State Global offers funding for NC State faculty or staff to enhance research collaboration and academic exchange with the University of Adelaide in Australia.

Through the NC Japan Center, funds are available for NC State faculty to collaborate with Japan’s scientific and technical communities.

NC State Global supports faculty and staff through an annual fund that provides $1,000 travel awards to encourage global engagement.

NC State faculty and staff are eligible to apply for up to $5,000 to support new international projects. The aim of this program is to provide grants that improve the range of international partnerships at NC State and foster meaningful, collaborative, global scholarship and engagement.

Faculty and staff are eligible to apply for funding to support research collaborations between researchers at the University Global Partnership Network’s partner institutions.

Funds are available on an ongoing basis for faculty and researcher exchange between NC State and higher education institutions in Israel. The fund is designed to promote scientific research and share technological capabilities.

NC State Global offers funding for NC State faculty to enhance research collaboration and academic exchange with colleagues at Nagoya University in Japan. Funds will support international travel and related activities leading to high-quality research collaboration.

The Outreach and Engagement (O&E) Incentive Grants Program seeks to align interdisciplinary faculty, their expertise, their students, and their research work to address significant community challenges in one or all three of the identified community partnerships, as outlined in the NC State Outreach and Engagement Strategic Plan. This effort also supports student engagement through faculty and community collaborations.
