Navigate is a suite of tools campus faculty and staff use to support students to timely graduation through a continuity of care and proactive advising structure. Advising Technology hosts training opportunities and prepares resources for faculty and staff to maximize Navigate for efficient and effective advising and student support.

Students with Disabilities

The Disability Resources Office is a resource for faculty in understanding their responsibility in providing an inclusive and accessible educational environment for all students. Resources are available on providing accommodations, teaching students with disabilities, making course content available, and related university policies and procedures.

Academic Program Assessment

Two processes exist for undergraduate programs: academic assessment and program review. The academic assessment process is continuous, based on student learning outcomes and competencies assessment of the academic programs (SLOs) and the General Education program (competencies). The External Undergraduate Academic Program Review is an eight-year process based on annual process results and other relevant data for the programs.

Reporting Academic Misconduct

One of the most difficult aspects of maintaining academic integrity in the classroom is deciding what to do once you believe that academic misconduct has occurred. The following information is designed to help you in confronting a student whom you believe may have committed academic misconduct.

Academic Integrity

Ensuring classroom integrity is two-fold. The first part involves educating students about your expectations for the integrity of their work in class. The second part involves actively preventing academic misconduct and confronting situations where you believe academic misconduct might have occurred. Student Involvment

Student Involvement cultivates meaningful student involvement beyond the classroom at NC State. SI programs and services are designed to develop career-ready, civically engaged graduates. The department houses the DASA co-curricular transcript program, provides student organization management and event planning oversight, and directly advises Student Government and the University Activities Board.

Leadership and Civic Engagement

Leadership and Civic Engagement provides unique learning opportunities that embody the value of leadership, service, responsible citizenship, and ethics. Leadership and Civic Engagement offers opportunities such as Alternative Service Break (ASB), leadership development workshops and programs, and service initiatives focusing on local, national and global social justice issues.

Academic Support for Student Athletes

The Academic Support Program for Student Athletes (ASPSA) is a comprehensive support program that strives to meet the academic, personal and professional development needs of NC State's student-athletes. The unit provides academic support such as mentoring and tutoring to the student-athlete population.
