Each fall, the Graduate School invites master's and Ph.D. students to participate in a competition that challenges them to describe their research in just three minutes.

In March, the Graduate School and Graduate Student Association host a research symposium where more than 200 graduate students present posters about their research. Applications accepted through January.

The Graduate School offers a variety of professional development programs for graduate students and postdocs. Programs are available in the areas of communication, personal and professional development, leadership and management, and academic development. The Professional Development website offers descriptions of individual workshop and certificate programs and provides links to the Reporter registration system.
