Faculty Central launched in July 2018. The site gives NC State faculty a central location to explore a variety of university resources.
The vision for Faculty Central emerged when several campus units realized there were overlapping efforts to compile faculty resources into a centralized source. Rather than each developing their own resources, Research and Innovation, Human Resources, the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, the Office for Faculty Excellence and University Communications and Marketing engaged a committee that included faculty to develop this unified resource.
Additional campus units submitted content to develop the resource. The Faculty Central Committee will continue to engage units and welcomes faculty-relevant content submissions. To continue to add value to the university community, we encourage faculty feedback.
