Diversity Education Week, October 15-19, 2018, seeks to reinforce and expand NC State’s commitment to making campus a more inclusive and welcoming place for all. In its ninth year, the initiative will focus on the theme of “Who Are We?: Defining the Wolfpack.”
NC State faculty, staff and students are invited to open forums where finalists for Senior Vice Provost and Director of Libraries will speak on their vision for a research library of the future, with a question and answer session to follow.
Unite with the Wolfpack community to honor our university’s past and present — and learn how we’ve mapped out our exciting future. Alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the university will gather from October 28 to November 3 to celebrate with time-honored homecoming traditions and all-new events that are fast becoming Wolfpack favorites.
All faculty are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting and participate in a dialogue with each other, Chancellor Woodson, Provost Arden and other senior administrative leaders of the university.
Join us for the 2018 Triangle Smart Cities Summit, hosted by NC State University and the City of Raleigh. The event brings together city, industry and academic leaders for engaged discussions and to share ideas on how to make our region a smarter and more connected community. Event is free and open to the public, however, registration is required.

The Office of Faculty Development has partnered with NCSU Libraries to offer Faculty Writing Retreats each month for tenure and non-tenure track faculty. Space will be limited for each monthly retreat, so please sign up early if interested.
This year’s forum, “Leadership Through the Decades: How Our Past Influences Our Future,” will feature national and local leaders.
