Our office provides diversity and equity training programs ranging from single workshops to our year-long, award-winning Equal Opportunity Institute certificate program. Our National Coalition Building Institute chapter affiliate has received national recognition for its facilitation of prejudice-reduction workshops on campus. All programs are free and open to faculty as participants and facilitators.

Environmental Health and Safety at NC State covers biosafety, environmental affairs, occupational health and safety, fire and life safety, laboratory safety and radiation safety. A variety of resources are available to the university community to assist in education on each topic.

The Faculty Senate is a body of representatives from each college, school and other NC State constituency. This group provides advice to the chancellor and, through the chancellor, to the NC State Board of Trustees.
The D. H. Hill and Hunt Libraries both have dedicated Faculty Research Commons for faculty to do individual or collaborative work, and to connect with colleagues. Reserve workrooms, focus rooms and conference rooms. A valid Wolfpack One Card is required for access.
