Why Partner with NC State

There are 115 universities in the U.S. classified as having the highest research activity by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. But only NC State has a unique combination of resources that makes it an ideal university with which to partner.

University Research Committee

The University Research Committee is the faculty’s voice to the research administration. The committee evaluates and advises on research-related issues and helps to identify emerging areas of interest or concern at NC State. Resources include a meeting schedule, list of current members and their contact information, and a calendar of research committee meetings and other research events.

University Archives

The University Archives, in the NCSU Libraries, collects, preserves, and makes accessible resources that document the growth and development of the university and its continued service to the people of North Carolina. It also collects materials about and docments student leadership and participation. It provides a resource for study and scholarship on the history and achievements of NC State.

Uniform Guidance for Management of Federal Grants

In an effort to streamline the administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements of Federal Awards, the Office of Management and Budget undertook a significant revision to regulations that govern Federal grant activities. Regulations were combined under one “Uniform Guidance” for the management of Federal Grant Awards. Federal links, agency updates, implementation guides and other resources are available.

Summer Salary Training

This section contains information related to the annual certification process for 9-month faculty eligibility for summer salary payments from sponsored project funds as well as the annual training requirement for Administrative staff.
