“The Pathway to the Future: NC State’s 2011-2020 Strategic Plan” outlines a vision for our future. The plan’s goals are: enhancing student success through educational innovation; enhancing scholarship and research through faculty and infrastructure investment; enhancing interdisciplinary scholarship to address society’s grand challenges; enhancing organizational excellence through constant improvement; and enhancing local and global engagement through focused strategic partnerships.
The strategic plan's five goals correlate to three overarching strategies that provide direction for the implementation plan. Each strategy is broken down into accountability measures that strengthen our progress toward plan completion.
The measurability of strategic plan goals keeps the university on track for real-world impact. Each metric shown gives an update on NC State's progress toward strategic plan goals and shows how hard work has already paid off.
