NC State is an official passport acceptance facility open to students, employees and the public. All passport acceptance hours are by appointment-only, using an online calendar system.
Assisting faculty by offering a direct referral system for students in distress and crisis through CARES. CARES case managers follow up with faculty to offer consultation and strategies to best support their students. Prevention staff offer faculty training focused on identifying students of concern and the appropriate referral process. In addition, Suicide Prevention, through Prevention Services, offers a tailored QPR Suicide Prevention Training available to all faculty each month.

The Provost's Office publishes a monthly digital newsletter keeping audiences informed of timely academic stories and events around campus. We reach all university faculty, as well as staff in NC State’s colleges and Provost’s Office supporting units.
The NC State University Building Future Faculty (BFF) Program is a two-and-half day all-expenses-paid workshop for doctoral students and post-doctoral scholars who are interested in pursuing academic careers and who are committed to promoting diversity in higher education.

NC State’s Bias Impact Response Team receives reports of and responds to bias on campus that may impact the campus community. BIRT ensures that reports are directed to the appropriate processes for addressing acts of discrimination, harassment, concern or violence to ensure due process.

Student Health Services is designed to meet student health needs. Highly qualified professionals provide top quality care and assist with referrals to on and off campus resources. As a part of tuition and fees, the health fee covers routine visits to providers (physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners). Services with a charge are offered at prices competitive with the community.

Student Involvement cultivates meaningful student involvement beyond the classroom at NC State. SI programs and services are designed to develop career-ready, civically engaged graduates. The department houses the DASA co-curricular transcript program, provides student organization management and event planning oversight, and directly advises Student Government and the University Activities Board.
