NC State Global oversees all of NC State’s internationalization efforts, from formalizing strategic partnerships with universities abroad to hosting international hubs and consortia here in Raleigh.

The Global Training Initiative is certified by Berlitz as Cultural Orientations Approach Corporate Practitioners. The GTI offers a range of standard and custom global skills training workshops for professionals and students.
The Global Training Initiative works closely with faculty and departments across all 12 colleges.
GTI Mentors are part of the PACK (Professional, Accessible, Compassionate, and Knowledgeable). The program aims to connect international students to working professionals in the NC State and local communities.

The International Operations Council's membership consists of college or unit leaders who are appointed by their Deans. Members lead program development and implementation of NC State’s international strategic plan for their respective colleges and units.

NC State Global manages teams that support strategic engagement within the context of a specific geographic region. NC State Global supports faculty and staff through an annual fund that provides $1,000 travel awards to encourage global engagement.
NC State faculty and staff are eligible to apply for up to $5,000 to support new international projects. The aim of this program is to provide grants that improve the range of international partnerships at NC State and foster meaningful, collaborative, global scholarship and engagement.
